The Things She Says

This little girl never ceases to amaze me! My daughter is three going on 13!!! It's so funny looking at her because I see myself staring back at me. Not only does she look like me, she acts and talks like me LOL it's very ummm.. SCARY!

So the other day this is the conversation that she had with Hubby:
Hubby: Tanya have you seen my belt?
Tanya: Yes, mommy whoop my butt with it!!!

Whew! Ok, can you say HILARIOUS I was on the floor laughing hysterically at that. It was the funniest thing to me, especially since I had not whooped her but she said it so matter of fact that I almost believed her! And I never know when she's going to come out of her mouth with some fairy tale either.

So we're out for a walk, I'm pushing her in the stroller trying to get my work out on. This man trying to flirt passes me and this is how the conversation went:
Man: Tell your man that he is lucky.
Tanya: Daddy gone (with the saddest look on her face)
Man: Aww it's ok sista keep your head up, I know it's not easy doing it all on your own
Me: (Looking dumbstruck) I'm not sure what she's talking about since I'm married
Man: (Looking at me like I'm crazy) Yeah ok

LOL WOW!!!! Where oh where does she come up with this stuff??? We can be in a grocery store and she'll say mommy is that my daddy? LOL It's sooo embarrassing! The fact that I am married to her father and she has seen him everyday of her 3 1/2 years on this earth makes me wonder if she is embarrassing me on purpose... hmmmm LOL
